Spacious beachfront villa.
Beautifull flower garden with garden lounge.
Including the service of a flexibel staff for driving and cooking (a l a carte).
Panoramic sunset overlooking Hindu temple.
Close to the Nirwana Golf Course.
As you arrive and the doors shut behind you, a row of Buddhist stone figures form a guard of honor. The path gently winds down, over a small bridge, past flowers and fountains to the villa. There is an ensemble of four very different small villas on the property, openly designed and sensitively furnished.
TanJuBali sits on a rise, separated from the sea by a strip of beach, with a view of the majestic rock formation in the water where the sun goes down. An ancient temple appears on the left of the rock. The architecture of the villa is classic Balinese, spacious with deep wood tones. The houses are arranged on the property with sure intuition: none blocks another’s view of the sea. Each has its own style, atmosphere and function.
The Enchanting Host Villa
This is the most intimate house, situated at the front of the property. Relax on the terrace on a Balinese lounge, and enjoy a view of the sea right from the bed. There is a dressing room, and in the back, a stylish bath that is open to the entrancing grounds, with Italian-style sinks and a sunken bathtub for two. You can shower under the Balinese sky.
The Stylish Guest Villa
Every room is different, every detail carefully selected. The house itself is situated discreetly at a good vantage point. Downstairs are two beautifully designed bedrooms, one with a French bed and one with a twin, attached to a romantic open-air bath. Climb the stairs under the sky, and from the veranda on the first story, a panoramic view of the ocean unfolds. This floor also features a spacious bedroom with a canopy bed and a bathroom furnished with mother-of-pearl shell basins, a studio and a TV room with a flat-screen TV and broadband Internet access.
The Open Kitchen Studio
This is the workroom for our creative chefs, complete with a professional “Smeg?stove and an American refrigerator, plenty of equipment and all the supplies needed to prepare a picnic for the beach or a five-course candle-light dinner by the pool.
The Covered Dining Area
Open but protected above by a large slab of wood on stone blocks, this is a shady meeting place for socializing, play and enjoyment.
The Living Pavilion
Roomy and open, with plenty of atmosphere, the view from here looks over the pool directly onto the ocean. Make yourself comfortable on the inviting couches and watch the seascape by the glow of huge candles brought from Beijing. Enjoy music played from eight speakers, or simply listen to the ocean‘s song.
Every day at TanJuBali is exactly how you want it. You can make your requests known to the staff the night before, or decide on the spot. Full service is available for you around the clock. This includes not only the fulfillment of your wishes, but also many little services to enhance your stay in Bali. In the mornings, your breakfast of fruit salad will be waiting. The pool is stocked with towels and cold drinks stand ready. Your room will be made up discreetly when you are out. If you like, surprise the chef with your creations, or order a la carte.
If you would like to play during the day, we offer petanque, cricket and the house. We only recommend swimming in the open sea in the incoming tide, but if you are an ambitious swimmer, let us chauffeur you ?to the beach ?surfing ?sailing ?motorboats ?diving .. art ?or if you want to relax in the shade, the roomy Balinese lounges await on the terrace. The perfect ending to the day is the view of the sea from TanJuBali.

This is by far the most popular region of Bali with visitors. The airport is here along with the greater Kuta area which now stretches several km to incorporate Legian and Seminyak. The area south from the airport is quieter and largely upscale including Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. The areas north of Seminyak up the coast to Canggu and on to Tanah Lot are more rural but fast being developed also. Sanur on the opposite coast is a mature tourist town which appeals mostly to older families.
Kuta is the best known tourist resort area on the island of Bali in Indonesia. With a long broad Indian Ocean beach-front, Kuta was originally discovered by tourists as a surfing mecca. It has long been a popular stop on the classic backpacking route in South East Asia
Legian is a beachfront town north of Kuta and south of Seminyak. Stretching north from Kuta, Legian offers the same easy access to shops and bars but a slightly more relaxed and less chaotic feeling
Seminyak is more upmarket with mostly luxury accommodation and fashionable high-end restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is much more sophisticated and laid-back than Kuta, and the beach in particular is quieter during the day.
Canggu is a beach area north of Seminyak and south of Tanah Lot on the beach and about 20 minutes north of Seminyak, half way to Tanah Lot.
Tanah Lot is a coastal temple in South Bali and is about 45 minutes by car north west of the main southern tourist areas of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak and is en-route for those heading to West Bali.
A popular afternoon/evening trip is to travel to the Uluwatu Temple. Arrive at the temple about 1-1.5 hrs before the sunset so it is not fully overloaded. Leave early after the sunset to Jimbaran. There are dozens of nice sea food restaurants direct at the beach. Enjoy a nice dinner and do a short stroll at the beach. Afterwards either return to your hotel for some rest or explore the party scene in Kuta.
Diving on Bali
Bali's many and diverse dive sites offer an exceptional diving experience for all levels of divers. From protected shallow bays with exotic scorpionfish, octopus and nudibranchs to exciting drift diving in wild currents with sharks, mola mola and manta rays, Bali Indonesia has it all!
